The Runaway Child

All about life and shits

  • Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

Years ago, I was the type of person who allowed my past to take part in my current. Which resulted in a dimmer future and a very struggling present. I get easily angry whenever my past haunts me, I get irritated when my past reminds me of faces. I get so damn fucked up whenever my past comes flashing, it brought me to nowhere but my fall. My life, it was as dark as of the night skies without the moon and the stars.

    One day..

Then came a time, I came to my senses. Knowing the fact that instead of walking with my head held high and with both my feet on the ground, I was crawling, instead of running I knew that I was rolling my way out. It was heavy, everything, they’re circling and stuck. Same place, same faces, same me. It was all blurry and heavy. I have decided to examine, what is it. What I was lacking? What was it that made my life seem so miserable instead of a privilege it felt like a burden. I breathed, but I couldn’t hear my heartbeat. I smile, but couldn’t even define what happiness means. I laughed, but deep inside I was breaking. What went wrong? And what should I do? One day, I question myself. What is it that you want? What is it and where are you heading?

    In between…

In between past and present, pain hides. It lurked. It stays. It was carved, the more painful my past is, the heavier and darker my present is. The more my future blurs. No light, no hope, faith is faltering. Why? Why would I allow my past to toy with me? Why have I let my emotions get me? Why did I let people stomp on me? Why? Why? Just why?

Why should I let my past control my present, pollute my future and control me?

It was a struggle, it took a lot of time for me to get over. I did all I could and was supposed to. Just so I can free myself. There is no better teacher than of our past, that’s a given and it’s a fact. It’s just that, it should allow and keep us moving forward. It should not manipulate, hold and stop us from living. Yeah, I do not spend time thinking of my past. I choose to stpp forward and think of my present. It is..

Present over past and future….for once my present gets through things. My future will reveal itself to me…

  • What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

I am the type of person who doesn’t find joy in material things, I prefer connection. The deeper kind of connection of which someone knows what are you going through even without you telling anyone, someone who notices my silence and acknowledge my noise. That kind of connection when I am being looked at, than ignored.

Deep bond, deep connection…the greatest feeling of wanted and need. Not for convenience but for the mere fact that my existence matters and my presence is being acknowledged. Not in a superficial way but in a deeper means.

  • What colleges have you attended?

I went to The College of Criminology…studied Criminal law and justice. It was something my parents wanted when they saw two of my cousins take it and looked very cool. They thought in our household I’d be the perfect fit for such a thing. While I had another college to attend in mind, I got admitted and stayed for more than four years.

It was a struggle, I did not ever wish to become a pursuer of bad people as a kid. After High School, I wanted to go to a business college since I had no say about it. I have to do what I can to survive the manly world of Criminology, I got my license too after taking the exam once. But it wasn’t something that I wanted passionately, so I ended up wandering around looking for things that I wanted to do.

  • Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

An extra time after working hard, that time where you can just go lazy and be carelessly playful(for fun and entertainment). Sitting not having to worry about doing the dishes or laundry, walking in the streets not worrying about being late.

Playtime is not having to rush in between time, no due dates, no curfew, no time limit.

  • Happy New Year everyone!!!!!🥂♥️🐲

  • What makes you feel nostalgic?

    New books!

  • What relationships have a positive impact on you?

It’s people who know and don’t know you for me, a battle of whoever gives you trust is the most to leave a positive impact on me.

    Trust…

I value nothing but trust, it’s my most treasured possession. Once I give it away, I give it in full. There are people whom you thought you might have known for long and vice versa, who would take care of your trust and eventually end up destroying every bit of it. There are those who you do not personally know or have known for a shorter period who end up being the ones who take care of your trust. Grows, nurtures and flourishes it with love.

I am a keeper…but once trust is broken and void. It’s all over…

I am into relationships that have no promise of commitment, strangers to being known. But not precisely forged permanently, complicated as it sounds, I take trust as my basis for how a relationship goes and leaves a positive impact on me. No matter how small it may sound to others, little things matter to me.

  • If you started a sports team, what would the colors and mascot be?

A Blue Phoenix for a volleyball team, mascot be a soaring blue Phoenix that would represent the ball when hit by the Blue Phoenix Team! It will soar and strive to strike for ace!

  • #4 Fate

    A conqueror’s faith…
    Fated

If we are to leave things as they were like we were told that everything in our lives was written and is already predestined and all we need to do is just wait, accept and embrace everything, even the most shitty and fucked up moments in our lives. Then what’s there to live for?

    Life…

How many of you have ever been told that IT’S MEANT TO HAPPEN..rather than…PICK YOURSELF UP AND FIND A WAY OUT! Sometimes, we are being told to take the easiest route rather than encouraged to yeah, take it, but try going against the current and waves. Life becomes shitty, not because it is predestined and just fated to happen to us. It’s more of, you let yourself be in that situation and you allowed it to take a toll on you.

    What matters…

Alright, I get it. Some things are bound to happen no matter how much we try to escape and get away from it. Let’s take it from the movie Final Destination, imagine knowing that you know that shit will happen and you tried to escape and fight against it yet it finds you and you got stuck and died according to what was written in your fate. If you know you are dying, fated to die and suffer. Then you cannot escape, and you need not escape but rather accept it plus a goal in mind to enjoy the remaining time of your life. It’s what matters most, not the written fate but how you face it.

    Bad decisions…

In my life, out of ten decisions, there were 8 bad and 2 fine or that have garnered an average result. If I am to say that this was fated to happen to me, then it’s going to be that way is it? Even if I die, nothing will change, it will be a fucked up life, a shitty one and a mess. I made bad decisions, not fated, but bad. If you believe in God and the creator, in whichever name you know about it. You will never take that creator as someone who wanted to just mess with your life, correct? I never believe that God gave me a messy shitty and fucked up life to start with, he gifted me with life with so much to learn from if I can see its meaning. If I fail, then that doesn’t have to do with God fated me with it but rather, I kept failing to learn and instead I kept repeating the same mistakes.

What is there to live for?

A shitty life hides the best reason to live it even more, however, it depends on the person. We believe what we choose to believe and we reject what we choose to reject, it depends on how we see it. Fate believers will eventually say, This mess is fated to happen to me, but eventually, as fate allows it I will soon rise above all this shit! There are quite a lot of people who believed too much in fate, to the point that they stood against a storm with arms wide open. The failure to see the meaning of everything that’s happening will result in a fool rushing into the flame thinking that it won’t burn hurt him. He is fated to walk it through, and just like that he dies believing such.

    Fate is?

For me, fate is the fuel to find a reason to live life no matter how shitty it becomes. If I am told that the bad things that happened to me were fated and will never change, and I can never change it. Then, might as well I’d cross the road with cars moving and just get hit. Humans were gifted with the brain, on their head, located above all other parts of their body. Why? It’s to foresee things, it is to determine what is what and which is which. To stand tall against anything, to conquer even fate without losing the ability to think of which meaning of his life is meant for. The search for meaning is tiring and exhausting, which makes fate’s existence more amusing. It all depends on you, on how you’d conquer your shits with faith.

  • How have your political views changed over time?

This question is similar to the previous ones…😑
