Name your top three pet peeves.
I guess it can’t be helped, whether you are a person who have better control on your emotions or someone who couldn’t well. I, for example, a person who could be patient and can tolerate annoying things. Still, there’re times when I couldn’t stand it.
3 strikes…
Like trial and error, I keep giving chances. Especially if annoyance is caused by someone, a person. May it be from the family, a friend and lover. It always has limits, cause I don’t like it when I am treated a pushover. There’s limit to things that can be change, I give chances every time so the person would know better what to improve.
#3 Repeat
Repetition of everything annoys me, I hate it when someone keeps going on and on over the same mistakes. I am referring to, like a friend asks for some advice. Then I pour my all to enlighten that person only to realize that I was just wasting my time and effort, once that person sober. The same things will happen, keep on happening and it’s a habit that I don’t want to play a role in. Second, repeating the same question. I hate it when I talk and the person whom I am with doesn’t listen, which usually prone to asking the same things for over and over again and it’s really annoying.
#2 On Time
I value time, I really do. If I know I won’t make it to a supposed meeting on the fixed time given, I give my word ahead. However, I only use this when time can be adjusted or I am not that needed right away. If, it is being set to meet an output or something important depends on it. Of course, I do the adjustment. Same with people who wanted to meet me, hang out with me or ask me to go somewhere with them. I could wait if someone gets late, but I don’t meet the same person again if that happens. My teacher taught me, when I was in 3rd year High School. I was always late since his class starts at 7:30 am and I live far from the school that I have to travel a long time, therefore, my attention was called out and I was given bad grade due to being late. It was the cost and effect of being inefficient person. I did understand all that, so from then on I started to build the same principle and personal policy. Time is gold!
#1 Friendship of convenience
I hate being used, since I do not do that to others. I don’t want anyone to treat me that way, if you don’t like me then do not force your self to me just so you could benefit something. I have eyes for people who only intends to use someone, calls you when they’re sad and lonely, in problem and unwell, problematic, stress and etc., and strangely they forget about you when they’re doing fine. The reason why I only have few, to very few friends. If my doubt of being used for friendship of convenience is valid and proven, I stop seeing or hanging out with the people who made me feel that way. I don’t want wasting my time, effort and energy to senseless and trashy relationships.
