I was too lazy…

What was your favorite subject in school?

From Grade School to High School, I was not interested in school. I hate it the most, I couldn’t cope with it. If I had not been late, I probably almost dozed off while class was going on. My grades were bad, really bad. However, I never failed any of my subjects (just once, to get my mom’s attention). I intentionally failed that subject one term, so I could get her attention. But then, I failed. Mother wasn’t interested in whether I failed or not, so I got on when my studies tried my best to at least finish Grade School and School.

That mindset continued until the first semester of college, bigger school and new faces. My fear grew more, I was afraid of people back then. Since I have no idea why, I just thought I was being shy. I couldn’t speak up, I couldn’t make friends. When I saw my grades for the whole semester, I was disappointed towards myself. From then on, I tried hard to bounce back. Tried to put my head on my studies, and focus and it went well.

I found my liking to Humanities and Literature subjects, speeches and writing. That was the only time in my life that I realized about what I liked, I finished college with grades that I could be proud of.
