Making peace out of your own inner peace…

Like a phantom lurking in darkness, our inner demons are hiding within us just waiting to take over whenever we feel like giving up or have fell under chaos in the middle of nothingness. It feeds well whenever doubt arises, anxiety grows and self pity strikes. There is no escaping, it feels like you can run but you can’t hide kind of scenario. Walking wide awake in nightmare and having to go through isolation trying to figure what’s going on, the most unbearable kind of feeling anyone could come face to face with.

There is no point in running away or keep denying the fact that we are facing something within us, and for most of the time people around us are the ones who usually triggers this demon. It feeds well with societal standards, baseless accusations, broken hearts, reciprocated love, outcasted and that situation where we are left thinking that even if we have tried our best and yet it wasn’t enough. That point in our life where we once have tried forcing our selves to fit in other people’s standards and tried harder to please them than of loving our selves.

There is a limit to our capacity, may it be in our physical, emotional and mental aspect. The moment we exhaust our selves working or forcing something that has never even for once have returned the efforts and hard works we put up. It is the end of our inner peace, we will spend our daily suffering from tangled thoughts that seems to be so impossible to settle. An endless battle that compromises our inner peace and that requires ample amount of acknowledgement and validation.

Having to deal with it would definitely make someone think that life is cruel and harsh, the worst part of the whole process is knowing that nobody cares of whether you make it or not or that of not having someone who somehow listens. The silence is deafening, days are longer and times sure moves slowly. Hoping that everything ends soon or at least that the pain would fade on its own, the desperate one longs for it the greater the frustration and desperation grows.

A troubled mind is like an ocean beaten by the wind, disturbed and unsettled. It is difficult to appease a disturbed inner peace, to sail further one must learn to wait patiently for the wind to stop blowing. There are stages to consider to fully understand our selves, one of those stages are of which we must accept that we are hurting. Never turn your back to an aching heart or to a bothered thought, deal with it when the pain subsides or confront your thoughts. Have a moment with your own demon and instead of feeding it with your pain and anxiety, fight it without causing harm to your self.

Make peace with your inner peace, make peace with your own self.
